Are you looking for the best way to communicate with your customers?

NTT Com Online Marketing Solutions (NTT Com Online) has launched the new service of 2Way SMS.
The new service enables real-time and rapid feedback through interactive communication with companies and their customers. It enhances Customer Experience and can also automate various business activities.

In fact, in Japan, 2Way SMS has so far been provided until now by complicated methods using SIM cards, or different short codes for each mobile operator. Recently, Japanese mobile operators have created an environment where the same short code can be used by all MNOs. This makes it easier than ever for companies to use this service.

Three key features of 2Way SMS offered by NTT Com Online

  • Common Short Code
We provide a common short code issued by four major Japanese mobile operators (NTT DOCOMO, KDDI, Softbank, Rakuten Mobile). This allows companies to inform their customers of a single company's code and the customers can easily set it up.
  • Simple Connection (SMPP)
To realize 2Way SMS in Japan, it was necessary to use each proprietary interface provided by Japanese mobile operators, but NTT Com Online has aggregated them into an international standard interface for easy connection.
  • Free of charge for end-users
SMS sent by end-users is not charged to the end-users. The companies are responsible for the cost of the SMS.
*Sending from outside Japan, mobile operators may charge it to the end-users directly.
